Start of March

ECS Family,       Last week in PE, each class played dodgeball or an obstacle course!  Both were great games of fun, competition and strategy.  I saw lots of great attitude and sportsmanship during the games this week.       This next week in PE, we will be playing volleyball.   We will add more advanced techniques, like positioning, digging, spiking, and blocking.  This will be a great unit for those that are interested in playing volleyball next year or in the future. *February PE Students of the Month* Kindergarten   -  Cohen 1st Grade   -  Connor 2nd Grade   -  Reid 3rd Grade   -  Faith 4th Grade   -  Caia 5th Grade   -  Elle 6th Grade   -  Natalie 7th Grade   -  Kenadi Notes to Parents The March PE Schedule is updated for Middle School and Elementary Please notify me or the office if there are any accommodations that need to be made for your student Hoops for Heart - March 28th God Bless, Go Crusaders! Winter is Here

ECS Family,       Last week in PE, each class played "Protect the Pin"!  It is a great game of fun and strategy.  Each player attempts to protect their pin from falling over while trying to knock over other pins at the same time.  I saw lots of great hustle and sportsmanship during the game of the week.       This week in PE, we will be playing Official Dodgeball, performing an obstacle course, and competing in Ultimate Ball.        Next week, we will revisit our volleyball unit.  We will add more advanced techniques, like positioning, digging, spiking, and blocking.  This will be a great unit for those that are interested in playing volleyball next year or in the future. *January PE Students of the Month* Kindergarten   -  Cohen 1st Grade   -  Connor 2nd Grade   -  Reid 3rd Grade   -  Faith 4th Grade   -  Caia 5th Grade   -  Elle 6th Grade   -  Natalie 7th Grade   -  Kenadi Notes to Parents The February PE Schedule is updated for Middle School and El

Last Week of 1st Semester

ECS Family,       The boys basketball season has now ended and the girls basketball season has begun.  The boys Varsity team went undefeated this year and won the league championship!  The JV team went 7-4 this year with some nail-biter wins.  It was definitely a great season for the boys!  They gave it their all.  I look forward to another exciting basketball season, with the girls team.       In PE last week, we played basketball... working on dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork.  It was a great way to finish the season with the boys and a great way to kick off the season for the girls.  I witnessed some great examples of fun competition, friendly encouragement, and complete effort. *December PE Students of the Month* Kindergarten   -  Kamryn 1st Grade   -  Delaney 2nd Grade   -  Danielle 3rd Grade   -  Frances 4th Grade   -  Erin 5th Grade   -  Blake 6th Grade   -  Levi 7th Grade   -  Alex             Let me know if you have any questions or concerns regardi

New Year, New Games

ECS Family,       The Past two weeks in PE have been a blast!   We began our year with floor hockey, indoor soccer, and some racket sports.  Floor hockey has been a big hit this year and I saw many examples of great effort, sportsmanship, and encouragement during each game, with safety being the highest priority.  The middle school was also able to work on skills for tennis, badminton, and pickle ball.  We will have a unit for all three sports in the spring time.         I look forward to seeing how each student progresses as both an athlete, friend, and teammate during the rest of the year. *December PE Students of the Month* Kindergarten   -  Kamryn 1st Grade   -  Delaney 2nd Grade   -  Danielle 3rd Grade   -  Frances 4th Grade   -  Erin 5th Grade   -  Blake 6th Grade   -  Levi 7th Grade   -  Alex              Thank you again for your continual support and your dedication to the development of each student.  Our staff understands that each student matters and we are commit
