Winter is Here

ECS Family,

      Last week in PE, each class played "Protect the Pin"!  It is a great game of fun and strategy.  Each player attempts to protect their pin from falling over while trying to knock over other pins at the same time.  I saw lots of great hustle and sportsmanship during the game of the week.

       This week in PE, we will be playing Official Dodgeball, performing an obstacle course, and competing in Ultimate Ball.

      Next week, we will revisit our volleyball unit.  We will add more advanced techniques, like positioning, digging, spiking, and blocking.  This will be a great unit for those that are interested in playing volleyball next year or in the future.

    New Year, New Games

    First Month at ECS

    ECS Family,         Thank you so much for giving me a warm welcome during my first month at ECS.  It is an honor and a privilege to work with such great students, teachers, and parents.  I now see why many call Evergreen Christian School a family.         Let me know if you have any questions or concerns regarding PE or your student.  I am happy to help in any way I can.     End of First Quarter

    ECS Family,         Thanksgiving Break is here!  And surely, there is a whole lot to be thankful for.  I thank God daily for the opportunity to be PE teacher and coach here at ECS.  I am surrounded daily by some outstanding students and teachers.  This truly is the place to be. 1 Chronicles 16:34   Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.
