P.E. with Mr. Gudbranson

ECS Family,       Last week in PE, each class played "Protect the Pin"!  It is a great game of fun and strategy.  Each player attempts to protect their pin from falling over while trying to knock over other pins at the same time.  I saw lots of great hustle and sportsmanship during the game of the week.       This week in PE, we will be playing Official Dodgeball, performing an obstacle course, and competing in Ultimate Ball.        Next week, we will revisit our volleyball unit.  We will add more advanced techniques, like positioning, digging, spiking, and blocking.  This will be a great unit for those that are interested in playing volleyball next year or in the future. *January PE Students of the Month* Kindergarten   -  Cohen 1st Grade   -  Connor 2nd Grade   -  Reid 3rd Grade   -  Faith 4th Grade   -  Caia 5th Grade   -  Elle 6th Gra...

ECS Family,       Last week in PE, the entire school ran the infamous PACER test!  The pacer test is a great way to see where is student is with their endurance levels.  Each round gets more difficult as the test goes on.   Many students gave their maximum effort to reach the high scores.
